The 50 metres refers to the pressure the watch can experience if it was static at a depth of 50 metres. • Are all Breitling watches automatic?

  Breitling offers a range of watch movements, including automatic or mechanical timepieces. Automatic watches are made up of a self-winding feature that uses the wearer's wrist movement to generate kinetic energy. However, if there isn't enough movement, the power reserve will run down and stop your watch. In this case, you'll need to wind your Breitling timepiece manually by the crown. Mechanical Breitling timepieces are not automatically wound when you buy it and will need to wound every few days to keep it functioning perfectly.
