Beaverbrooks the Jewellers Ethical Policy
Beaverbrooks the Jewellers is a family owned jewellery retailer with over 60 stores across the UK employing approximately 800 people. We take our business values from our family owners and manifest them through a publicly advertised document known as ‘The Beaverbrooks Way’. It sets out ‘how we do things around here’, not what we do, and is appended to this document to provide an understanding of the framework for our business.
At Beaverbrooks we are committed to enriching lives by promoting responsible, ethical, human rights, social and environmental practices throughout our business, our employees and our business partners, which include the complete supply chain for all products.
We comply with UK legislation, and fully support the sentiments and applicable codes of practice relating to the Responsible Jewellery Council, the Kimberley Process, No Dirty Gold Campaign and our own behaviours as set out in The Beaverbrooks Way.
We are committed to ensuring that all aspects of our daily business lives comply with our Ethical Policy in a fully integrated manner, with every employee being accountable for ensuring they play their part. This covers every element and process within our business. Ultimate accountability to ensure initial and ongoing compliance is with the owner Directors of Beaverbrooks, who delegate the day to day operations to their Executive team.
We are committed to communicating our Ethical Policy to all stakeholders inside and outside our business, including the ongoing benefits, at every opportunity. And to ensure continual awareness of our accountability, and the benefits that this provides to the business, us and others that our business touches.
