  • Beautiful rings with shoddy workmanship

At first I thought what happened to me was a one-off. But when I saw in another review with someone else losing their diamond, I felt it only fair to other prospective buyers that I give my experience. Like with the other reviewer, after only 5 months, the stone fell out of my ring and I was devastated. I waited 10 years for my partner to propose, only for the stone to literally drop out. My partner saved hard for this ring (£6k) and let’s be fair, these are beautiful unique rings. I loved it… to look at. We were lucky enough to actually find the diamond (thank goodness because Beaverbrooks were initially defensive stating that this had never happened before and that they would need to check for tampering - I told them to check their other reviews). I wonder what would have happened if I didn’t find it. I was given the option to have a whole new ring (but they couldn’t guarantee the diamond would be of the same quality). Knowing my partner had got a good quality diamond I chose to have my current ring repaired in order to keep the same stone. But now I live in fear everyday. I hate it. Beaverbrooks gave me a gift card, but only because I argued for it. The final lady I dealt with just handed my ring back, said goodbye and sent me on my way like it was a normal occurrence to lose a diamond in an expensive piece of their jewellery. Two reviews comment on losing the stone - just avoid.
