• Is NORQAIN a luxury watch brand?

  Yes, NORQAIN is a luxury watch brand. These timepieces are loved by professionals and watch enthusiasts alike, and their characteristics and complications establish NORQAIN as a luxury watch brand.

• Are NORQAIN watches Swiss-made?

  Norqain watches are designed in-house at the brand’s headquarters in Tavannes, Bernese Jura, Switzerland. NORQAIN was born in the Swiss Alps, meaning the timepieces adhere to Swiss watchmaking standards and regulations. Although NORQAIN watches are assembled and designed in-house, the watchmaker incorporates Manufacture Calibres from premium Swiss supplier Kenissi, a manufacturer that also supplies watch movements for TUDOR and other Swiss brands. This means that NORQAIN watches are of a very high Swiss standard.

• Who is the owner of NORQAIN?

  NORQAIN was founded in 2018 by Founder & CEO Ben Küffer, alongside Co-Founders Ted Schneider and Mark Streit. NORQAIN is an independent, family-owned watch brand, which is a rarity in the luxury Swiss watch industry. This gives NORQAIN the opportunity to independently produce watches that speak to the brand’s creative intuition and brand values, without the pressure of shareholder profits.

• Are NORQAIN watches water-resistant?

  NORQAIN watches range in water resistance levels, from at least 100m to 200m. This means that NORQAIN watches can withstand water pressures from depths of 100m to 200m without affecting the watch’s construction, movement, or accuracy. However, you should always check the specifications of your NORQAIN watch and the manufacturer’s advice before submerging your timepiece in water.

• Are NORQAIN watches automatic or quartz?

  NORQAIN watches are exclusively mechanical, which means they function with manual or automatic movements. The Swiss-made calibres power the timepiece, which will require winding from time-to-time, depending on the movement and power reserve of your watch. No NORQAIN watches are powered by quartz (otherwise known as battery-operated) movements.

• What is the warranty on NORQAIN's watches?

  Your NORQAIN watch includes an international manufacturer’s warranty; 2 years for models with a standard movement and 4 years for those featuring a manufacture movement. When you purchase a NORQAIN watch you also have the option to extend your warranty by an additional 1 year FOC directly with NORQAIN. Details can be found on your warranty card. To make a warranty claim, the international warranty card must be presented at your nearest NORQAIN stockist.
