General terms and conditions

The content of the pages of our website is for your general information and use only and is subject to change without notice.

The Beaverbrooks the Jewellers Ltd web site is aimed at providing a service which, where possible, replicates its store experience. There has to be small print, it's here to protect you and we recommend you read it prior to purchasing. We are well aware that small print shouldn't be small and have tried to make it as easy as possible to read and understand:
Beaverbrooks the Jewellers Ltd provide this web site on an "as is" basis and as such accept no responsibility for any errors, which will be unintentional.

  • Goods purchased using the Interest Free Credit service can only be delivered to the billing address of the credit/debit card holder which must be located within Great Britain or Northern Ireland.
  • Goods will only be delivered to Great Britain and Northern Ireland addresses.
  • Each product carries its own individual delivery date which is stated on the product page.
  • We do an identity check* on all orders, which will be cancelled if they do not pass the identity check.
  • All orders are subject to product availability
  • All measurements are approximate
  • Products images shown will not be actual size and will depend on your monitor's display and colour capabilities
  • Colours reproduced are as accurate as electronic processes allow
  • Not all watch brands are available at every branch
  • All prices are Pounds Sterling and include VAT at the prevailing rate
  • All items will be supplied in our packaging or branded packaging from our suppliers
  • This site is governed exclusively by English Law

 

Once you have completed an online purchase, we will send you an email confirming the order details. (This is not a confirmation that we have accepted the order) We will take payment for your order immediately and once all security and stock checks have been passed then we will dispatch your order to you. It is at this point that a contract will exist between you and us under these terms and conditions.

Where 'next day delivery' is quoted this refers to the next working day for orders placed before 1pm Monday - Thursday. Orders placed after 1pm Thursday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 1pm Friday will be delivered the following Tuesday

Identity Checks

By agreeing to the terms and conditions you agree that Beaverbrooks can perform an identity check, which includes the use of Experian. Experian may check the details you supply against any particulars on any database (public or ortherwise) to which they have access. They may also use your details in the future to assist other companies for verification purposes. A record of the search will be retained.

Our Guarantee to you

We guarantee all our fabulous products against manufacturing defects, which will be honoured at any branch of Beaverbrooks or through our mail order department on production of the sale receipt. Our guarantee is additional to and does not effect your statutory rights

Buy With Confidence

We know you will be delighted with your purchase, we do appreciate that sometimes you may not be. On these rare occasions we are more than happy to offer you an Exchange, Credit Note or Refund on your purchase if it is returned to us within 30 days from receipt providing the item is unworn, in pristine condition, with its original packaging and all relevant receipts and documentation. This offer does not include personalised items or special orders and does not affect your statutory rights.

An Exchange, Credit Note or Refund of your purchase can be done by returning your goods to the address below using the FREEPOST returns label on your Website receipt, or by going in to any Beaverbrooks store.

Note: Google Checkout, PayPal or Hitachi orders can only be refunded using the FREEPOST label.  Please allow 10 days for your refund to be processed.

Competition terms and conditions

'The Ultimate Christmas Proposal' Competition

  • No purchase necessary.
  • Entries accepted via the online form found at www.beaverbrooks.co.uk/christmas/the-ultimate-christmas-proposal
  • The closing date for entries is midnight on Thursday 8th December 2011 and the winner will be notified by Monday 12th December 2011.
  • No cash or alternative prize will be offered.
  • No employees, employees' family or representatives of Beaverbrooks may enter.
  • Open to UK Residents only.
  • Multiple entries from the same individual will not be accepted.
  • The prize is a discount of 50% off any Beaverbrooks diamond jewellery including all diamond rings. There is no minimum or maximum spend.
  • The winner must claim their prize within 6 months, at which point the discount will become invalid.
  • To prize can either be used in-store or by mail order, but must be arranged with the customer services team before being used.
  • By entering the competition you agree to receive promotional material from Beaverbrooks.
  • Winners will be notified via the phone number and email address provided on entry.
  • Only entries via the online form will be accepted.
  • Entries from third parties or agents or incomplete entries will not be accepted. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the promotion.

  • If an entrant is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made to do so,

  • The closing date for entries is 11.45pm GMT on Saturday 29 October 2011 and the winner will be notified by Friday 4th November 2011
  • No cash or alternative prize will be offered.
  • No employees, employees' family or representatives of Beaverbrooks may enter.
  • Open to UK Residents only.
  • Multiple entries from the same individual will not be accepted
  • The prize is a £100 Beaverbrooks Gift Card available to spend in store or by calling our sales team on 0800 169 2329
