Picking the perfect engagement ring is one of the most important purchases you will make. First off the starting block is the dilemma of how much to spend on the sparkler. It all depends on your own financial circumstances, but generally the rule to follow is 1-2 month’s wages should be allocated to the engagement ring fund.
It might sound like a lot but remember, an engagement ring is the most lasting symbol of your declaration of love and one that will be handed down the generations for years to come. But be sensible and don’t leave yourself penniless as it’s not the best way to start married life!

Now onto the main event…picking the ring itself. It’s such an exciting occasion and do let yourself be swept away by the magic of it all, especially if you’re picking the engagement ring together.
