Founded in 1895 by Moise Dreyfuss, the company is a fourth generation family-run firm with Robert Dreyfuss at the helm. Moise Dreyfuss was dedicated to creating beautiful watches with timeless elegance. His attention to detail and insistence on first class, personal service ensured the business grew quickly. Within 12 years of the initial conception of Rotary, the family's success led to the opening of a UK office by Moise's sons, Georges and Sylvain.

The company continued to grow and in 1925 they introduced the now famous Rotary watch logo, the 'winged wheel'. Georges' son, Teddy, joined the family firm soon after the war. He took the brand even further with innovative watches, sophisticated marketing and powerful advertising campaigns.

Rotary watches are now sold in over thirty-five countries throughout the world. Yet despite the huge growth, Rotary remains true to Moise Dreyfuss' vision to offer contemporary classic, dress watches of high quality and outstanding design.

Rotary specialise in designing affordably stylish timepieces. The latest collection of stunning designs from Rotary is no exception, carefully blending the 'old with the new' and the 'contemporary with the classic', to achieve a distinctive range of Rotary watches for the modern man and woman.

In 2005, Rotary introduced the unique 'Dolphin standard' of waterproof watches which offers consumers peace of mind that they can "swim and dive all day" whilst wearing their timepiece. It applies to all watches in the Rotary range (with the exception of precious metal) including ladies Rotary dress watches and ultra slim cases.
