Omega Globemaster

Inspired by early Omega Constellation models, which epitomised Omega’s horological expertise as well as their legacy of outstanding performance, the Omega Globemaster showcases the brand’s most advanced mechanical movement to date and is the world’s first Master Chronometer.

Establishing a new standard for quality in the watchmaking industry, the Omega Globemaster was the first watch to be tested and approved according to the new METAS certification process. This strict accreditation process takes place over the course of 4 days and tests the daily precision of the watch under real-life conditions. The test also ensures that the watch will function correctly when exposed to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss, which is equivalent to the magnetic field generated by some MRI machines.

Showcasing a unique style which creates a timeless appeal for generations to come, the 39mm case is finished with the iconic pie-pan dial which first appeared on Constellation models in 1952. The Globemaster’s characterful design is further enhanced with the stunning fluted bezel with smoothed top ridges to give the watch an additional touch of finesse, whilst the variety of distinctive dial colours can be complemented with either leather or bracelet style straps.

Embracing the heritage which surrounds this beautifully designed timepiece, the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement is protected by a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal which is embellished with a medallion stamped with the image of an observatory under a polished sky decorated with eight symbolic stars.

A ground-breaking piece of engineering, the Omega Globemaster is truly a watch to be handed down through the generations.
